The government doesn’t just have the option to take potentially insolvent banks into receivership, my understanding is that under the law it has the obligation to do so. Refusal to do that is a dereliction of duty and an abuse of executive power, aided and abetted by a legislature that is equally derelict in its duties under the constitution. I'LL TAKE MINE STACKED NEATLY IN A BOX PLEASE.

First thing, go start collecting all the scrap paper you can get your hands on, by the truck load would be best, then call Mr. Paulson and tell him you are ready to do business.
That seems to be what the rest of them are doing.
